Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are used to support how the site works, to keep track of your session and to remember your preferences.
Kwenta uses strictly necessary and functional cookies only. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics cookies.

Besides cookies, Kwenta also uses local storage (localStorage) for certain UI preferences (such as dismissed notices and cookie consent). This data does not leave your device and is not sent to our servers.
For payment processing, Kwenta uses Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies when you visit a payment page. These are outside our control and are subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
Stripe cookies are set only at checkout — never on Kwenta's marketing or information pages.
Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under article 5.3 of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, transposed into Belgian law through the Code of Economic Law). They are necessary to deliver the service you requested.
For functional cookies (language choice, demo mode, onboarding) the legal basis is legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) — they are needed for the session to work correctly and hold no data that identifies you.
Because Kwenta uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies, blocking them is not advisable — the app will not work correctly without them.
